Community Assistant - Bragaw 24hr Desk
Mike here. If I'm not careful, I'll start off
trying to write something cool and whitty to put in this here
profile and I'll end up telling you all my life story - so
let's see what I can do.
For starters, I'm Mike. I am guessing you know
that already, but just in cause you forgot - there you go.
I am a Community Assistant for Bragaw Residence hall and the
author of this awesome website. This is my second year working
for Bragaw. Although I live off campus, I did live in this
hall for one semester during Spring 2002. I'm a Senior (YES!!),
majoring in Interpersonal Communications (which is the best
major on earth) and minoring in Psychology. I absolutely love
this school, I love my major, and I love Bragaw. If you don't
live in this hall, you should!!! LOL. And even if you don't
want to make a move as drastic as that - you can always just
come visit us. I tend to make frequent trips to the office
even when I'm not working, so come join the fun.
Aside from classes and working at the desk, I
am also very much involved with Victory Campus Ministries (VCM)
at NC State University. What do I mean by very involved? Well,
for starters, I'm the webmaster (yeah, I love doing this sort
of thing) - so feel free to check out our website at www.ncsuvcm.org.
I am also the president, webmaster and senior
graphic artist for Hosanna
Interactive, a multimedia and web design team. We're currently
preparing to launch our new website. You can preview our website
at the linked address above. Of all the things I have ever
done in my life, starting Hosanna Interactive is among the
greatest fulfillment of many dreams. Keep an eye on us, and
check back often for the premiere of 'Covenant Hearts' and
'Pages of Life Online' - which are just a few of many soon-to-come
projects from the Hosanna Interactive design team.
My favorite book in the world is the Bible, because
it is the best love story ever written and it talks a lot about
my best friend in the whole universe, Jesus Christ. I tend
to be musically inclined to the likes of Hillsongs Australia,
Champions for Christ, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, Oasis Praise.
I don't watch much TV, but I do love a good movie.
I love collecting and reading comic books. I
now have a mega collection thanks to a gift from my brother Jeff
Friddle. If you're looking to donate, I am particular fond
of all of Marvel's X-Titles. I am a strict X-Men fan, but I
might read something else if it tries to be interesting. I
used to write and draw my own comic series called the Neophytes.
Getting kinda lengthy here huh? If you're still reading, much
applause. Anywhoo, that's a small summary of me. Yah for Mike!!
